Collaborative Care for Individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities

At the conclusion of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  1. Recognize how barriers to care create health inequities for patients with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD).
  2. Summarize how barriers experienced by people with IDD are being addressed by health and dental care providers.
  3. Describe collaborative partnerships by like-minded organizations and educational programs to improve healthcare for people with disabilities, including those with IDD.
